The Great Texas Talent Search
    Great music, comedy, intrigue, and entertainment all in one show! All this and more abounds at each "Great Texas Talent Search", a high energy talent and entertainment showcasing creativity of up-and-coming professional and semi- professional performers; musicians (singles, duos, trios), vocalists, fashion & spokes models, variety acts (magicians, comedians, ventriloquists), and 4 plus piece musical groups and more. (regardless of category). This show goes from 10am on Saturday and ends at 8 pm and continues on Sunday with the same hours. To the audience it will appear very much like the “Tonight” show format or the Jay Leno show format. We will use a total of three hosts/DJs (3 each day) as well as model spokespersons to introduce talents.
    Providing a bridge between content creators in the independent and commercial talent communities. The Great Texas Talent Search is dedicated to locating, showcasing, taping and promoting the most compelling and entertaining performers for future audiences worldwide. We will be looking for exciting and professional acts of all types for Agency representation as well as sponsorship into such shows as “Star Search”, American Idol”, and top level legitimate model searches that are available annually from completive agencies.
    This weekend-long event, to be held at various well known locations, in various major cities, listed below, offering talent screenings on select days from 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. prior to the actual search and all day live videotaped and photographed showcasing on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.,(see showcase program). (note: All acts will be introduced by a M.C. and or model spokesperson ,all single act performers will perform center stage, this does not include acts that are accompanied by a guitarist or pianist. We will have a piano on stage at no extra charge.(ideally a baby grand, for optima visual effect.) These acts will all received a DVD of their videotaped performance, as well as PR photography of themselves at no cost for their own use.
    This is an opportunity for these up and coming talents to be associated with a reputable talent and entertainment agency. This event will lay the ground work to allow them to go to the next level in this extraordinary industry, complete with mixing and mingling opportunities of local buyers and future contacts.
    As the show begins the MC will introduce these new performers/ talents to the audience. The MC will hype the audience up for the performer for approximately one minute before the performer is brought on stage. The act will perform for approximately 3-4 minutes. MC will come back on stage to thank the act and get applause for the performer and then he/she announces the next act. All single musical acts (does not include acts that are accompanied by a guitarist or pianist), vocalists and variety acts (comics/magicians/impressionists etc) will perform center stage. A grand piano (when available) will be available at no charge. The side stage wings are reserved for the musical trios, and multi-person bands. After the act has performed he/she will, exit at the back of the stage and proceed to the area for their professional photography shoot. In as much as we are on a tight schedule it is absolutely imperative that no one goes to the photo shoot WITH THE PERFORMER. (NO EXCEPTIONS). All registered performers will receive an DVD of their stage performance and a CD of their photography, to be used as they see fit for use in creating there own marketing materials if they so desire.
