BIOGRAPHY
ROBERT G. WEMPLE, III
Executive Counsel to Administrative Management
Born and raised, received formal education and continues to be a resident
of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex area.
Began professional business experience in photography, graphic art and
design reproduction, which was followed with sales, marketing,
advertising, public relations, media communications and business management.
At age twenty, began major market broadcast experience at local KBOX
Radio station in the continuity department, writing commercial copy and
broadcast production. A promotion into sales and promotional marketing
included an introduction into musical concert staging, promotion and
production. Also, formed associations at the time with corresponding
theatrical entertainment talent agencies and producers, which included
the William Ware Agency and its subsidiary business operations.
Later, asked to join KCPN Radio station, another local broadcast
facility, by the former management of the prior station and as
administrative assistant to management, continued the same basic
production duties, which also included record production and distribution,
as well as an introduction into film and television production.
Through another acquisition by the principal ownership, was asked to
join the new management team of the highly successful, nationally
recognized, KVIL Radio station in Dallas, Texas, as Senior Administrative
Executive to the management for Sovereign Broadcast, Inc. Later, further
acquisition of properties included; KRAM Radio station in Las Vegas,
Nevada, KTPL Radio station in Carson City, Nevada and KOLE Radio station
in Port Arthur, Texas, which was co-owned by Gulf State Broadcasting.
An additional corporate merger between the principal ownership of the
radio station properties and a Dallas television production company
known as Video Southwest, Inc. -- which was the first independent video
production company in the southwest region -- produced a management
assignment to oversee interests, which involved administration and
general management.
During this period, began associations with major east and west coast
record, television and motion picture production and distribution
companies, such as; United Artist, Screen gems, Warner Bros, ABC Circle
Films, and both NBC and ABC television networks.
These associations lead to an offer from the ownership of Dallas-based,
PAMS® Productions, Inc. -- the largest producer of radio station musical
ID's worldwide -- to become the director of operations for their
advertising agency division. After a two year period, purchased the
agency division and opened an independent advertising agency OMNICO
Corporation. Interest participation was held in a co-ownership arrangement
with Sovereign Broadcast, Inc.
During this time, the company represented the Windmill Dinner Theaters, Inc.,
a Dallas-based company, which owned seven (7) theater venue operations nationwide.
This resulted in working professionally and personally with over a hundred
famous well-know artists and entertainers of stage, music film and the
television industry.
The corporate subsidiaries included Media Systems, a broadcast and
production company for radio and television properties, and Touchstone,
Inc. a joint venture corporation, which involved the development and
production of stageplays and venture capital funding for stage, film,
radio and television properties. During this period worked with Los
Angeles entertainment companies in project development, which included
Dick Clark, Chairman-CEO, Dick Clark Productions, Neil Bogart, President,
Casablanca Music Productions, Larry Klien, President, Olive Enterprises,
Billy Strange, President, Reprise/Sinatra Music, Inc.
After this period, began to center on the management of personal
investments an interest, which included Clark Cable Network, a radio
and TV program service, CBLA Radio station, in Pales Verdes, California,
Zebra Films, Inc. in Los Angeles, Marina Music Corp., in Marina Del Rey,
California, and Allied Producers Group, in Dallas. During this period,
business operations and dual residence in Dallas and Los Angeles. Sold
all interests via a partnership merger.
Currently, active in various business interests including an longtime
ongoing association with the primary owner of the William Ware Agency,
in Dallas, Texas, on a consultation basis as Executive Counsel to Administrative
Management, with duties that includes; administration, management, development,
finance, graphic arts, photography, sales, marketing, advertising, public
relations, audio and video production.
Memberships and affiliations include; Texas Southwest Association of Film
& Tape Professionals, American Film Institute, The Dallas Communications
Council, Texas Educational Theatrical Association, The Cultural Arts Development
Center, National Association of Broadcasters and The American Association
of Radio and Television Professionals.
