As a U2 fan and a fan of Bono's views on humanity, it's been an honor and an absolute pleasure to share the physical likeness of an incredibly talented musician, poet, father, husband, humanitarian and a person who is more than just a symbolic world leader of men.

I'm often stopped by fans of Bono and fans of U2 alike and their graciousness often reminds me that many people of all walks and ages love Bono and have a great sense of respect for him. I try to share their love for him as I'm also a huge fan of Bono myself. People want to shake my hand, hug me, kiss me, and just wish to have simple conversation with them. When asked for photographs, I'm always available and when asked for autographs, I usually sign "Love every day" or "Live fully!" or "All About Jesus" (as Bono himself is a man of Judeo/Christian faith) for those who are still awestruck....and sometimes unconvinced that I'm not the real thing (very often)...even after showing my drivers license! |
