Who is Donna Huber

Donna's a Small-Town Girl. She was born on May 27, 1966. She is 5'8", 125 pounds, with brown eyes and naturally black hair Which she has colored to brownish red to accommodate her "Shania Twain" Tribute.

Q - Who is your favorite singer?

"Take one guess - SHANIA TWAIN!!! But I also admire a blues singer by the name of Susan Tedeschi.".

Q - What are the things you love to do most?

"I love performing, taking my dog Sheena for walks on the boardwalk. I love - so much - to cook. Every year I have a huge Christmas party (one of my favourite times of the year). I invite my band to enjoy a huge meal that I absolutely put all of my energies into. (I usually cook for the entire week or two to prepare for this event.) "I also love to exercise - love tennis, inline skating, biking, going to movies, and of course, did I mention long walks on the beach?".

Q - What are your favorite foods?

"I'm a complete "nut" about "health food". I avoid white flour foods, sugar, meat, and anything with preservatives. I also avoid dairy products. Of course there is the one exception that I make every time - I ADORE Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream. Oh - and then there is cheesecake - who can ever say no to cheesecake??? - Certainly not me!!!!"

Q - What was it like growing up in Northern Ontario?

"I was so shy as a child and up until I was 25 years of age. I would get extremely frustrated with myself because of this, and had an extreme low amount of self-esteem. I would beg my sister to go with me as I was so afraid to go alone. I was terrified of speaking to people outside my family. This period in my life was very traumatic for me, and it's a time that is hard for me to remember. I thank the music business for helping me grow away from this insecurity. I truly believe it was the catalyst in taking me away from all my fears. I feel so thankful and blessed for the life I have now."

"I really didn't like moving so much as a family when I was a child or teen. I do however appreciate having experienced this. It was extremely difficult for my parents to put their children through this type of upheaval time after time, but they did the very best by us children and always put us first in their lives. For this I will always be grateful.".

Q - Do you have any children?

"Yes - My little dog Sheena. She's my baby."

Q - Are there any drawbacks to touring and performing?

"I love what I do - the only downfall being that I'm not able to visit my family as often as I would like, and miss them terribly, I have wonderful parents, who are so supportive of me - although I know my Mother worries and fusses about the time I have to spend on the road. I have 2 brothers whom I miss and 1 sister who is my best friend. I also miss terribly my nieces and 1 nephew who grow so quickly I just can't seem to believe it every time I have the pleasure to visit them."

"Hopefully, in the near future, I can 'slow down' just enough to spend more time with my family, as they are so very important to me."

Q - Is there anyone who you thank for your successes as a Shania Twain Tribute?

"I would love to again thank Shania Twain personally. If I had the opportunity to speak with her again, I would tell her how much i appreciate the fact that she has encouraged me to sing her songs. Because of her - I am a different person today. I have a very fulfilled life."

"THANKS SO MUCH - SHANIA TWAIN!!!"  Bio
