CHRIS CALLAWAY

Chris Callaway began doing Model Portfolios in the Dallas / Fort Worth area in the late 1960’s and continued molding and developing this craft even as he moved to Houston in 1971.

He was the recommended photographer for the Flair Agency in Houston then moved to New Orleans at the end of 1972.  He worked with a number of premier agencies in New Orleans, among them Bob Weekley at New Orleans Model & Talent Agency, and Peter Dassinger of Peter Dassinger International.  Expanding into the commercial photography market in 1978 as Photography USA, Chris was the recommended photography vendor for the New Orleans Hilton Riverside & Towers, Marriott, Windsor Court, Meridian, Fairmont Roosevelt, and Sheraton Hotels. 

Among his contract clients were Spangenberg Studios, United Exposition Service Company, Andrews Bartlett, Greyhound Exposition Services, Pete Fountain Productions, and Property One.

During this same period Chris opened Fame Modeling Agency adding a stable of over 700 models, actors, actresses, and specialty talent servicing the Film, Television, Voice, Print, and Fashion markets.  Fame developed a national tradeshow client base and furnished Models, Hostesses, and Specialty Talent to Conventions & Tradeshows in every major city in the United States and Canada.  Moving back to Dallas in 2004 Chris has teamed up with Bill Ware at the William Ware Agency.
